Amber Bardin – Owner, President, Provider

  • Grew up in Durango, Colorado and went to Fort Lewis college where her major study was communications
  • Moved to Hood River with her husband in 1998 and is the mother of two boys

  • Worked as the Director of Gorge Gymnastics for three years
  • Taught preschool at Kids-R-Us for one year
  • Worked for one year at Pam’s Path for Learning preschool/daycare
  • Opened Smart-E-Pants, Inc., in 2003

  • Has over 500 hours in Early Childhood Education classes and training
  • Oversees all the day to day operations, curriculums, and activities, and is in charge of the Spalding Language Arts curriculum
  • Is certified in Infant/Child First Aid, CPR, Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse, and has current Oregon Food Handlers card
  • Does at least 15 hours of continuing education classes annually
